The Diaspora Country Index (DCI), with a presence in Washington, DC, London, and Accra, is building the core infrastructure that enables Global South countries to systematically engage their diasporas for economic transformation. As an independent, non-partisan platform, DCI combines benchmarking, policy frameworks, and curated diaspora networks to help governments, institutions, and partners mobilize diaspora talent, capital, and expertise at scale.
DCI goes beyond research to implementation. Through its benchmarking system, policy toolkits, and partnerships, it supports countries in moving from fragmented diaspora engagement to coordinated, high-impact strategies that drive innovation, industrial development, and sustainable growth. While initially focused on Africa, DCI is designed to scale across emerging and frontier markets globally.
